My Cosmic Deer Herd takes flight to the Riga!

I’m thrilled and deeply honored to announce that my work has been selected for the inaugural biennale!

This international biennale, held in Riga, Latvia, is dedicated to contemporary surrealism and its expanded forms — including Automatism, Biomorphism, Dada, Metaphysical Art, and Surrealism itself.

Organized as a joint project between Art Riga Fair (Latvia) and VOYZX Fine Art Project (Canada).

The exhibition will take place in the historic halls of the Latvian Railway Museum from May 9 to May 29, 2026.

A long-term virtual exhibition will remain accessible online through May 30, 2027, offering global reach.

The biennale serves as a vibrant platform for artists at any career stage to showcase experimental, dream-like, and subconscious-driven work, connecting creators with collectors, curators, museums, and new audiences worldwide.

Being part of this first edition feels like a significant milestone — it affirms my place within the evolving international surrealist scene during a true renaissance for the movement.

My piece underwent a rigorous jury process, with selections made by:

• Curators from Art Riga Fair and VOYZX Fine Art Project

• Appointed art critics from AICA (Association Internationale des Critiques d’Art – the International Association of Art Critics).
