A Dream Becoming Real: Seeing My Artwork in the Biennale Catalogue
Today I saw my artwork in the Riga Contemporary Surrealism Biennale 2026 catalogue and virtual exhibition.
It felt almost unreal.
This painting is so familiar to me. I have seen it in my own space, worked with it, lived beside it, and carried its story for a long time. But seeing it in the biennale context made it feel different — as if it had stepped into a larger world.
There was a strong “is this really happening?” feeling.
For years, it has been a dream to see my art travel beyond my own walls. Now my Cosmic Deer Herd artwork is part of something bigger: an exhibition, a catalogue, a shared artistic space.
It feels exciting, humbling, and deeply meaningful.
Sometimes a dream becomes real in a quiet moment — when you open a page and suddenly see your own artwork looking back at you from somewhere far away.
A familiar painting in a new world — seeing my artwork in the biennale context felt almost unreal.
Seeing my artwork in the virtual exhibition was a quiet, emotional “is this really happening?” moment.
