From Trash to Treasure: How "Silent Bloom" Got Its Unique Recycled Frame ✨
The cool summer has come to an end, and as autumn rolls in, cosmicaelina’s little art factory is back up and running!
Even though the summer weather didn’t exactly spoil us this year, we managed to finalize something during the quiet season that I am absolutely thrilled about.
My latest summer painting, Silent Bloom, finally received its protective varnish—and something truly special to go with it.

People often think that beautiful art requires expensive, store-bought frames.
We decided to take a different path. We salvaged some discarded wood from a local timber yard's scrap bin, right under a "free to take" sign.
We then took over the craftsmanship… and the result?
A set of stunning, matte gold frames subtly installed behind the canvas.
And wow—the painting was literally elevated to a whole new dimension!
The soft gold undertone brings out the colors of the artwork in a completely new way.
This project was a wonderful reminder of how fun, rewarding, and above all, eco-friendly DIY can be.
Out of recycled materials, we created something completely unique and personal that mass production simply cannot replicate.
What was once considered waste became a beautiful backdrop for a story.
