My First Exhibition Journey to Riga

This short video is a small memory from my first exhibition journey to the Riga Contemporary Surrealism Biennale 2026.

Seeing my artwork in a new place, surrounded by other artists and their creations, felt both exciting and almost unreal. What began with nervousness slowly became a beautiful adventure — through art, the city of Riga, new conversations, and shared moments.

I fell in love with Riga’s strong old soul, its streets, architecture, light, and atmosphere. Walking through the old and newer parts of the city gave me new inspiration, not only from the landscapes and buildings, but also from the people I met along the way.

A warm thank you to the organizers for creating this opportunity and bringing artists together. It was truly meaningful to meet fellow travelers on this artistic path — other artists, visitors, and people who were curious about the works and stories behind them.

Art has its own language, and during this journey, I felt that language very strongly.

Grateful, inspired, and still a little amazed!

The five-piece series The Cosmic Deer Herd, shown at Riga Contemporary Surrealism Biennale 2026, is now available as art prints in my shop.
