On the Shores of Space in Reposaari – Thoughts from My First Solo Exhibition
It is incredible how a certain atmosphere can touch you so deeply and warm your heart.
Last Friday, it finally happened: we celebrated the opening of my very first solo exhibition at Galleria Kissaniitty, located in the idyllic surroundings of Reposaari.
Since this was the first time I've ever put my artwork on display like this, I was naturally feeling quite nervous.
Originally, my goal wasn't to focus on making sales.
I simply wanted to step out of the comfort zone as an artist, let my paintings breathe in the beautiful coastal scenery of "Räpsöö," and enjoy some great company.
The evening exceeded all my expectations. It was amazing to watch old friends, acquaintances, and complete strangers step into the beautiful traditional courtyard.
People raised their glasses, enjoyed some snacks, immersed themselves in the paintings, chatted, and shared laughs.
There was a sense of immediate magic in the air that is hard to put into words.
During the evening, I received wonderful feedback, encouragement, and heartwarming words.
Best of all, I also received great, differing viewpoints and tips for my art – those are often the most valuable tools for growing your own creative style.
After the opening, the classic "exhibition hangover" set in. For a couple of days now, I’ve felt completely still, empty, and even a bit silly, as all the intense anticipation and excitement finally released. Yet, my heart is still absolutely full of love and gratitude.
A huge and heartfelt thank you to all you wonderful people for connecting with my art!
You made this opening night truly unforgettable for me.
✨ The exhibition "Avaruuden rannalla" (On the Shores of Space) is open until September 27th [1]. ✨
You are warmly welcome to step inside the gallery to take a look, wonder, and enjoy your time among the artworks!
